We're on the search for a Building Scheduler to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity.
Organise take-off from construction drawings
Prepare list of resources required (sub-contractors, material, resources etc) for successful completion of projects
Create a high-level master schedule that incorporates the initial CPM schedule and the sub-contractors’ schedule
Provide required information to procurement team to support procurement activities
Provide required information to contracts team to support sub-contractor set-up and management
Work with Construction Manager and Site Supervisor and provide required information
Track progress, changes and reschedule as necessary
Keep an eye on program milestones, interdependencies and provide analysis to expedite completion
Provide information on items impacting the project schedule
Provide a summary and report on project progress
Responsible for maintaining current and standardized job files.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Minimum five years of experience with Building Company
Knowledge of Building industry with experience in scheduling and planning
Able to interpret contract specifications and drawings, and able to understand construction logic and sequencing of work
Computer skills: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, and Excel. Proficiency with MS Project
