Building Scheduler

We're on the search for a Building Scheduler to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity.

 

Scheduler

  • Organise take-off from construction drawings
  • Prepare list of resources required (sub-contractors, material, resources etc) for successful completion of projects
  • Create a high-level master schedule that incorporates the initial CPM schedule and the sub-contractors’ schedule
  • Provide required information to procurement team to support procurement activities
  • Provide required information to contracts team to support sub-contractor set-up and management
  • Work with Construction Manager and Site Supervisor and provide required information
  • Track progress, changes and reschedule as necessary
  • Keep an eye on program milestones, interdependencies and provide analysis to expedite completion
  • Provide information on items impacting the project schedule
  • Provide a summary and report on project progress
  • Responsible for maintaining current and standardized job files.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Minimum five years of experience with Building Company
  • Knowledge of Building industry with experience in scheduling and planning
  • Able to interpret contract specifications and drawings, and able to understand construction logic and sequencing of work
  • Computer skills: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, and Excel. Proficiency with MS Project
